As it turns out, Alfa Romeo plans to stage the dynamic 4C Launch Edition at the event that is about to start, the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model will be showcased at the First Glance Class of the festival and will do a demonstration for the public for the very first time as it ascends the famous Hill Climb course. Actually we had the opportunity to see it for the first time in March at the Geneva Motor Show where it has been acclaimed with critics. As you can see in the photo gallery below, the 4C represents the true essence of a sports car combining Italian style, performance and technical excellence. It also offers maximum driving satisfaction with very high safety. We all know that 33 Stradale, and just like that one, the Alfa Romeo 4C is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, compact sports coupe. To be more precise, both models will be standing starting with the 12 of June on the Alfa Romeo Goodwood stand.
The new model is very aerodynamic and efficient thanks to the fact that it is just under 4 m long, 2 m wide and 118 cm high. Under the hood it hides a 1.750cc turbo petrol engine capable of generating 240 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. With this output, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 155 mph. There is a new version of the Alfa DNA selector fitted to the 4C which will also feature a new Race mode alongside the original three options: Dynamic, Natural and All Weather. Head of Brand at Alfa Romeo UK declared that they are very thrilled that their model will have its debut at this great event and are looking forward to the reaction of the public. The man also said that this edition of the festival will be a memorable on for the British company and for their cars.
