Alfa Romeo Gloria Concept

Alfa Romeo revealed the first important highlights of their new Gloria Concept. All this has happened before the official debut that will soon take place at the Geneva Motor Show. At the 2013 edition of the event, the carmaker will introduce for the first time the concept built by the Master in Transportation Design in collaboration with the Alfa Romeo Style Center. During the process the engineers have tried to represent the sports spirit and the Italian style under the same roof. The specialists are actually thinking of offering the new Alfa Romeo Gloria Concept for the American and Asian customers. The saloon is also a symbol of elegance and prestige for the two markets. Together with this the models also makes us think of comfortable space both at the front and the rear which is expressed by the length of the model.

The Alfa Romeo Style Center has participated with passion in different phases of the project. To be more precise, the specialists have been present from the product brief to the historic collection of the brand. The students in the Master programme were asked to offer their independent interpretation of the new saloon. The result was very creative and professional. The model measures 4.700 mm in length, 1.920 mm in width and 1.320 mm in height. The wheelbase measures 2.900 mm. nothing is for sure yet, but a V6 or a V8 bi-turbo engine would make a lot of sense on the road.

From all models, the one that was best fitted with the Alfa Romeo initial brief was chosen. The class of students divided into groups and worked on the final project in full scale. Actually, the model was created thanks to the contribution of Cecomp, 2013 main sponsor and an important enterprise in the area. The Alfa Romeo Gloria concept will be reproduced on the iPad in a virtual environment. Here, the ones interested will be capable of interaction with it.
