Alfa-Romeo Giulietta QV

We will now tell you more on the new Alfa Romeo model, the next generation Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde performance version. According to the carmaker, the model will be powered by the same engine that powers the 4C sports car model capable of producing up to 240 PS. For the moment, the Giulietta receives power from a 1.75-liter turbocharged engine capable of producing 235 PS which has been used in the development process of the 4C engine. The bad news is that the new model will not have lot of extra horsepower, but the new generation Giulietta will have a lot to win in terms of performance and handling just because of the lightweight aluminum build the engine has.

Thanks to all the specifications and the small extra horsepower, the models will then be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds which means a decrease from 6.8 seconds, which is still something. To transfer all the output to the wheels, the engineers have also came with the idea of equipping the model with the TCT 6-speed automatic transmission that will come with dual dry clutch from the 4C. Why this one? Well this particular is in fact the only transmission available, hoping it will not let down the fans of the manual transmission. No modifications will be made to the current form of the two.

This way, the carmaker is trying to build a closer connection between mid-engined sports car and volume models as well and let us just hope they will manage to do it. Just as expected, the next Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde will be in the top of the range just like the current generation. These are all the details available on the model for now.
