Aston Martin V12 Vantage S with 565-HP

Only a few days ago, Aston Martin released a teaser video that now we see was containing the new V12 Vantage S capable of generating 565 horsepower. This model actually replaces the V12 vantage and produces 55 horsepower more. According to the carmaker, the new vehicle is the fastest road-going models of the brand since the One-77 hyper model which as you all know, it is no longer being produced. The V12 Vantage S receives power from an AM28 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of producing 565 horsepower, as mentioned before. This output enables the car to accelerate and reach a top speed of 205 mph. It contains the latest generation Bosch engine management and delivers 620 Nm of torque, up from 570 Nm the Vantage used to deliver. The low rev torque is also now up from 440 Nm to 510 Nm.

The specialists say that the model contains race car technology and here we have to mention CNC machined combustion chambers and hollow camshafts being just two examples of track technology adapted for the road. To transfer the power to the wheels, the engineers have provided a new transmission, the Sportshift III AMT which is an automated manual transmission. The unit is actually 25 kg lighter than the outgoing 6-speed manual transmission. The new Vantage S comes with 3-stage adaptive damping which is a first for the family. This offers 3 modes: Normal, Sport and Track. The model also comes with a lighter, smaller and noisier exhaust system in comparison to the model it replaces. In terms of aesthetics, changes include a new grille similar to the one on the CC100 Speedster Concept and also the new lightweight forge alloy 10-spoke wheels and an exterior graphics pack including black painted roof and part-painted boot panel. The carmaker also offers as optional a Carbon Fiber Interior Pack.
