Even though Aston martin released it 2013 Vanquish a few months ago, just recently, the carmaker offered more photos of their incredible car. This is the mode that replaces the DBS, with a 25 % more rigid platform, but lighter thanks to the use of carbon fiber in the rear structure. The new model measures 4.720 mm in length, 2.067 in width and 1.294 in height. Its wheelbase measure 2.740 mm wheelbase. In the end we can see that it is 5 mm wider and 14 mm taller in comparison with the car it replaces.
Under the hood, the model hides a 5.9-liter V12 petrol engine capable of developing 565 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. The output is being transferred to the wheels through the same Touchtronic 2 6-speed automatic transmission that also exists in the DBS. This amount of power enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 295 km/h. The Aston Martin DBS was capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and of reaching a top speed of 305 horsepower.
To handle the extra power, the engineers have offered 3rd generation Brembo Carbon Ceramic matrix brakes. In terms of exterior, the new Aston Martin Vanquish is a bit more evolved than the previous model, but so is its interior, even though designers have tried to keep the basic design also offered an overall futuristic look. The boot space has a 368 liters capacity, which means it is 60% larger than the DBS. Before the end of this year, the new Aston martin Vanquish will arrive in European dealerships. The UK starting prices were established at GBP189.995. The first North American owners will receive their cars only in the first months of next year. They will have to pay $ 279.995 for the basic model.
