Audi R8 by Famous Parts

It is already a fact that Audi is one of the most famous brands in the whole world. And with its Audi R8 it confirms its fame. The car gives an incredible performance and an amazing design and this ensures its place in the top Audi cars.  Some of the best tuning companies such as OK Chiptuning, ABT Sportsline, Prior Design, have already created an upgrading program for the awesome German vehicle. Well, it seems that Famous Parts thought it is about time for them to show their skills when it comes to tuning Audi cars. Their latest project is based on the same Audi R8.

Famous Parts named their widebody tuning program for the Audi R8, the PD GT-850. Prior Design, a name mentioned before, is a direct competitor for Famous Parts. The Prior kit included a new front bumper, side skirts, a modified rear apron with an integrated diffuser and a huge rear wing. So Famous Parts needs to face all these. Among others, the guys working there have placed wider wheel arches fitted with vents for improved cooling of the brakes.

The Audi R8 is 6 centimeters wider at the front axle and 8 cm wider at the rear one after Famous Parts worked on it. The vehicle sits on a set of 20 inch forged alloy wheels manufactured by Rotiform. They are wrapped in Continental Sport tires. The car has also been equipped with a premium stainless-steel Capristo flap sports exhaust system mated to a remote control system and four settings. The new R8 receives a re-mapped ECU too. The price of this Famous Parts Audi R8 Widebody program is still unknown.
