Germany is quite often the scene of a constructive battle between some of the most famous car manufacturers in the world. Each brand tries to be a step forward than its rival. The same thing also takes place between tuning companies willing to do their best to become the best in the field. Taking an Audi R8 and adding B&B Automobiltechnik we get a nice German combination for which perfection is a must have. More precisely, B&B has upgraded the 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus facelift.
The 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus facelift is powerful enough when coming out the factory gates, thanks to a FSI 5.2-liter V10 engine churning 550 HP (404 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. This hasn’t stopped B&B’s staff excitement and the guys have created an aftermarket kit for the fastest Audi currently on the market. The tuning company offers a three stage upgrade for the vehicle whose engine releases 595 HP & 560 Nm, 610 HP & 570 Nm and to 628 HP & 585 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via a dual-clutch S-tronic seven-speed gearbox.
The impressive power boost in the 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus facelift was possible by changing the ignition and injection systems, remapping the ECU or rebuilding the air ducts and intake channels. B&B also placed a stainless steel racing exhaust system and bespoke carbon fiber air filters on the vehicle. The upgraded Audi is 0.3s faster than the stock one and it can reach a maximum speed of 204 mph (328 km/h). Other features of the upgraded car include an adjustable racing chassis, a set of 20-inch alloys wearing 235/30 R20 front and 305/25 R20 rear rubbers. The exhaust benefits from a valve control system featuring remote control and the sound can be adjusted in four stages. On the whole, this Audi packs a performance that everybody can dream of.
