Audi S3 Sportback Quattro

The unveiling of the Audi S3 Sportback with its 296bhp means giving us pictures and details on the car. The true and complete taste of the model will become clear just at the debut, in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The S3 with its three-doors has already been unveiled by Audi , but the five-door Sportback will get its power from the same engine turbocharged and 2.0 litre. The standard of the car includes a manual gearbox with six speeds, but the dual-clutch S-Tronic with six speeds gearbox may be specified. All of the Se models will have the Quattro four-wheel drive fitted.

So, what else is there to be found on the Audi S3 Sportback to make our life better and enchant us? With its dual-clutch gearbox, the S3 Sportback gets to accelerate form 0 to 62 mph in 5.0 seconds. Quite a beautiful figure, we might say. Now, with the manual gearbox the figure changes a little bit, but it still remains beautiful in its 5.5 seconds feature. The two gearboxes will not argue on the top speed. They both get to be the same on that matter reaching 155 mph, a figure limited electronically.

Compared to the old S3 Sportback, the new model has the economy of the fuel improved, with a figure that reaches 41mpg in the case of the S-Tornic and 40.4 mpg in the case of the six-speed manual. The sport suspension of the S3 has been lowered by 25mm up against the standard, thus improving the handling. We will also find fitted bigger brakes. On the standard list of the S3 Sportback we will find LED daytime running lights, a number of four exhausts in oval shape on the rear diffuser and an S grille that look of aluminium. The car will go on sale under a price of at least £34000, starting with September.
