German carmaker Audi had developed a new model. We are talking about the SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept. The German customers can have it for EUR 92.000. It will cost EUR 33.500 more than the regular SQ5 TDI. This model will have a starting price of EUR 58.500 at first, when it arrives in German showrooms in 2013. If you think great modification were made in terms of performance to justify the increased price, well you could not be more wrong. The two models mentioned above, both receive power from the same 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 diesel engine capable of developing 308 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.
The modifications were actually made to the interior of the Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept. The specialists have upgraded the interior, but also offered and exclusive exterior finish. The model has an Aral Blue crystal effect exterior finish that apparently was especially developed for this reason. It might be a little difficult to make a difference between this special blue and the regular one, especially for the untrained eye. On the inside, it features leather multifunction sports steering wheel which together with the gear lever gaiter covered in black Fine Nappa leather, feature contrasting stitching in white.
The dashboard and the center armrest are the same. The sport seats are also covered in Fine Nappa leather with white stitching. They also have black and leather in the center section of the seats, for more effect. To be more precise, this is the first time woven leather was used on a production vehicle. Only 50 units of the Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept will be built and sales will start in the first four months of next year. Before the end of this month, the carmaker will present it at the Paris Motor Show, so stay close.
