Here we have the S variant of any Audi crossover, the SQ5. According to the carmaker, the new model will be available in US showrooms starting this summer. The specialists have established a starting price of $51.900 which is the equivalent of EUR38.900. Of course, this price does not include the destination and delivery charges which reach $895. The direct competitor is the BMW X3 xDrive35i capable of generating 300 horsepower with the optional M Sport package that costs $3.000. The new Audi SQ5 has two different shapes for the US and for Europe.
The first one comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine capable of generating 308 horsepower and the second one comes with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 gasoline that delivers 349 horsepower. In case you are not convinced, please note that the two engines are here to impress their customers with the power and this is why the Germans from Audi have decided to offer two separate units and not just one for both Europe and the North American market. The model offered for the last one is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and it is also capable of accelerating and reaching a top speed of 155 mph.
To send all this power to the wheels, the engineers have offered an 8-speed automatic Audi quattro permanent all-wheel drive system that comes as standard. Moving on, we also have to mention the 20-inch wheels that come as standard on the Audi SQ5 and also the ones that can be selected as optional, the 21-inch rims. Next on the list we have front and rear bumpers with Platinum Gray grille and diffuser, leather sport seats and steering wheel inside. The drivers will also enjoy other technical elements like keyless start, stop and entry as well.
