Bentley Continental GT Speed

The new 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed is now out in the open as the carmaker has finally revealed all the details you need on their new achievement. Under the hood, the model features a twin-turbo W12 6.0-liter engine capable of developing 616 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. All this output is being sent to the wheels through an 8-speed ZF close-ratio automatic transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.0 seconds and to reach a top speed of 205 mph. The British engineers have improved the air suspension springs and dampers for better body control. Actually, the front suspension features an aluminum double wishbone and, at the back, it has a trapezoidal multi-link configuration.

The new Bentley Continental GT Speed also features large 405 mm at the front and 335 mm at the rear, ventilated cast iron brake discs with 8-piston calipers. The rifled exhaust tailpipes which are complemented by the rear lamp bezels are only available on the new 2013 GT Speed. When it comes to the interior, the car features an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system that features a 30 GB hard drive. For even more comfort, the specialists have offered an 8-speaker sound system which can be easily controlled from an iPod. 17 different hide colors are available for the model and the interior of the GT Speed can be specified with duo-tone color splits, including one split previously exclusive to GT V8.

Its all-wheel drive system offers reassuring stability and the potential to access the prodigious performance all year round in virtually any weather conditions or road surface. The new Continental GT Speed features important changes to both chassis hardware and software for a sporty, engaging drive that matches the formidable power train. The steering and suspension control systems receive revised calibrations.
