BMW M5 Mi5Sion by Hamann

The BMW M5 is a high performance version of the BMW 5-Series executive car built by the Motorsport division of BMW. Taking this performance car and adding the German tuner Hamman, we get a successful receipt presented in the Geneva Motor Show.

The tuned BMW M5 got a Mi5Sion package that added some special features to it. The body is now wider with 30 mm on both sides and is provided with some carbon fiber components such as door fixtures, side skirts, wings and roof spoiler. The car is distinguished by an aggressive front fascia, aerodynamic side skirts, a new rear apron, a modern exhaust system, a unique grille and also a built- in diffuser.

Speaking about the interior, we notice that the old Merino leather has been replaced with an Alpine White leather treatment along with carbon or aluminum elements. It also has an M steering wheel with two buttons that offer pre-selected engine, transmission and suspension setups.

The heart and soul of the BMW M5 remains unchanged. We discover the same twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter which is equipped with an exclusive cross-bank exhaust manifold. This produces 560 HP (412 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque linked to a 7-speed M double clutch gearbox sending the high-performance sedan to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h). Despite the immense performance, the modified BMW M5 is relatively frugal as it has an average fuel consumption of 9.9 L/100 km (28.5 mpg imp / 23.8 mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 232 g/km.
