The corporate philosophy of the company Manhart Performance includes taking into consideration the needs of individualists that are not satisfied being “normal” but aspire to belong to the “extraordinary” class, in a special scope. This creation of something “special” is realized principally through the build-up of such high-performance vehicles that more or less put their power on public show. The German tuner has just revealed its tuning program for the BMW M6 Coupe.
Manhart equips the BMW M6 Coupe with a carbon fiber exterior package consisting of a new front spoiler with an optional blade, an engine hood with air inlets, rear diffuser and a trunk lid spoiler. The mirror caps are wearing carbon, too. The vehicle now sits on a set of 21-inch Concave ONE alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubbers. Manhart also placed a rebound-adjustable KW variation 3 coilover kit modified specifically for the M6 Coupe.
The BMW M6 Coupe is powered by the same twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine that is now able of generating 743 HP (546 kW) and 953 Nm (703 lb-ft). Responsible for this extra power are the carbon air intake system, sports catalytic converters and a bespoke exhaust with downpipes and four 100mm pipes. The coupe does the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.8 seconds and will do 62 mph (100 km/h) to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.3 seconds. So, if you want to get out of the ordinary, this Manhart project should do the job quite nice.
