BMW X1 Facelift

German carmaker BMW decided to send the X1 to the US market. The risk of overlapping with the X3 exists, but it is still the best-seller on the European market so, why not try in the sub-compact SUV market in the US. The model will have its first official public display tomorrow at the New York Auto Show, but the carmaker warned us, it will look a lot different with the new facelift elements. Only the bumpers were modified on the exterior and the headlights look unchanged. On the back is seems to have new designs for the taillights and bumper. On the inside it features silver paint accents that actually make the difference between this new model and the old one. Two engines are available for the US model. The first one is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder in 28i models capable of developing 240 horsepower and then there is a 3.0-liter turbo in the XDrive35i capable of developing 300 horsepower. Both will send the power to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission offered as standard.
