The BMW X1 Zinoro 1E is powered by a rear axle electric motor that outputs 170 HP (125 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the crossover to reach an electronically limited maximum speed of 130 km/h (80 mph) and run up to 150 km (93 miles) on a single charge. When the lithium iron phosphate battery is low or uncharged, it can be fully recharged in about seven and a half hours. The new product that is the first e-drive SAV built in China and the first NEV from a Chinese premium manufacturer.

The BMW X1 Zinoro 1E features automatic climate control, heated front seats and GPS navigation. The model also got a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain sensing wipers and a boot that can host 306 liters (10.8 cubic feet) of luggage. The development of Zinoro 1E has taken a strategy to convert an existing BMW product to an e-drive model. This secures not only the product substance can match its premium positioning, but also the first product can get on road on schedule. By far, BMW Brilliance is the only Chinese premium car manufacturer launching a real new brand product to the market.
