Brabus Widestar 800 at the Qatar Motor Show

The Widestar 800, a model that has as base the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG received an updated version from Brabus specialists. We will all have the opportunity to see it for the first time at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show where it will have its official debut. Under the hood it hides the same 6.0-liter 12-cylinder engine of the G 65 AMG capable of generating 800 horsepower and 1.420 Nm of torque. This new output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The optional Brabus Widestar wide-body version also comes with 23-inch Brabus forged wheels available in different versions. The new model also comes with an electrically adjustable Brabus Ride Control suspension that offers a perfect symbiosis of excellent ride comfort and safe, agile handling.

The engine specialists have developed a high-tech Biturbo system. The exhaust manifolds specially made for the G 65 AMG optimizes throttle response and produce a higher boost pressure than the production turbo engines. Under the Brabus carbon-fiber hood scoop it has four water-to-air intercoolers that ensure lower charge-air temperatures. The optimized engine air supply is provided by two air filter boxes in the front fenders. The engine electronics with special mapping for injection and ignition coordinates the perfect interaction of the high-performance components while at the same time ensuring compliance with EURO V emission standards.

The new look for the front is further defined by the front grille with integrated Brabus logo and an additional panel below the radiator grille. The same applies to the Brabus rear fascia and the Brabus roof spoiler. The interior of the G 65 AMG can be specially made to the preferences of the owner in the upholstery shop. More information their work is available on their official web site.
