Citroen is a French car producer known in the world as a dynamic and continuously improving brand. For them, the saying “our client is our master” is as true as it can be. And the latest thing the Citroen officials have in mind is to introduce the Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed and then to present it at the Frankfurt Auto Show, too.
The Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept is the concept that most likely has been designed to preview the future production model. The car is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter THP engine that generates 202 bhp (150 kW). The design perfectly reflects the one of a coupe in the true sense of the word.
The Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept rides on 19 inch glossy black alloys. Black is also used on some chrome elements on the door mirrors, handles and boot trim. The concept is also equipped with Carmin colored brake calipers, wheel hubs, a black canvas roof and some door mirror housings. The inside offers some bucket seats wrapped in Nappa, leather and Alcantara. They are associated with a Carmin finish for the dashboard, seat housings and gearshift. More details are to be found this weekend at Goodwood Festival.
