We now have fresh info on the new model developed by Dacia, the new Logan MCV. The carmaker announced the starting price for it. Apparently the ones interested in owning one will have to take out of their pockets at least GBP 6.995. This is the price of the base version of the Access. The estate car is now available on the UK market starting now. First deliveries will arrive in July. Just for comparison, the MCV will actually cost GBP1.000 more than the Sandero. The most expensive model is still the Laureate diesel version which has a starting price established at GBP10.795. There is no information on whether Dacia UK will import the Logan saloon, but until we know more, the MCV will do the trick as it has a practical and generous boot space which. When the seats are in place, it has 575 liters and the with the rear seats down, the trunk has 1.518 liters.
In case it is not clear yet, the three grades available for the UK customers are Access, Ambiance and Laureate. In terms of standard equipment, the model comes with body colored bumpers, ABS with EBD, ASR traction control, four airbags and to transfer the output to the road, 15-inch steel wheels. The carmaker also provides two accessory packs, Touring and Protection. The optional elements include a 7-inch MediaNav touch screen, rear parking sensors and leather upholstery; of course, the list goes on.
In terms of engines, the model comes with two gasoline units. The first one we should mention is the 1.2-liter capable of generating 75 horsepower and the second one is a 0.9-liter one capable of producing 90 horsepower. There is also a diesel one, a 1.5-liter with 90 horsepower output.
