Apparently Dodge has big plans for the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The specialists will introduce the new 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona. We are in fact talking about the 2013 Dodge Charger R/T and the Charger R/T Road & Track trim levels which will bring modern performance and technology offered in the current Charger line-up. The carmaker will only produce 2.500 units of the Daytona and each model will have a serialized dash plaque.
Under the hood, the model hides a HEMI V8 engine capable of generating 370 horsepower which are being sent to the rear wheels and then to the road. The price for the model was established at $33.000. Customers have the opportunity to choose between a unique palette of Daytona Blue, Bright White, Billet Silver or Pitch Black. The package also includes special dark trim. The front crosshair grille is covered in satin black with R/T badge. The list of elements continues with roof wrap, rear R/T spoiler and the custom vinyl hood graphic.
On the inside, it features unique black performance Nappa leather and suede heated and ventilated seats with Daytona Blue stitching. The new 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona also comes with a Mopar bright pedal kit and a 552-watt 10-speaker Beats Audio System. The MSRP for the R/T variant starts at $32.990 and for the R/T Road & Track Daytona models at $36.495. To transfer the output to the wheels, the model uses a 5-speed automatic transmission with Audio Stick that offers 25 mpg fuel economy on the highway. Other features include High Intensity Discharge headlights, four-wheel disc anti lock brakes, Electronic Stability Control and a lot more. The R/T Road & Track Daytona was designed for big enthusiasts who demand more performance from their Dodge Charger R/T. This is all the information available on the models so far.
