During the years, Zender has created body kits for marques such as BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz, working mainly with German manufacturers. However, the tuning house's latest collaboration involves an Italian car.  With Zender`s touch, the Fiat 500 Abarth turns into Abarth 500 Corsa Stradale Concept.

The kit was presented during the 65th edition of Frankfurt Motor Show which has taken place during  10-22 of September. This world premiere was not very popular during the press days, even though it features a new front and rear fascias, a big rear spoiler and 18 inch allow wheels. The project presents a version of what can be added in order to completely change the appearance of the popular Italian Vehicle.

The body pieces that the kit contains are mainly made out of carbon fiber. The lightweight fabric comes to stress the `Corsa Stradale` name of the concept. Translated from Italian, `corsa` stands for `race` and `stradale` stands for `road`, therefore the concept is a vehicle created for road races. The Italian mini features an even more aggressive appearance due to the lowered sports suspension and 215/35 ZR 18 tires (Pirelli P Zero Black).

The interior was slightly upgraded as well. The kit includes custom sport seats,  stainless steel  pedals and stainless steel  illuminated door strips.

The Abarth 500 Corsa Stradale Concept is powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged, four cylinder engine enabling the auto to jump from an initial output of 76 hp to 236 hp. This new power performance was reached due to further modifications under the hood, such as a stainless steel exhaust system, a larger turbocharger, modified pistons and fuel injection.

The concept can go from 0 to 100 Km/ h (62 mph)in 6.5 seconds (0.7 seconds less than the regular Abarth) and reaches a maximum speed of 232 km/ h (144 mph). There a no plans for actually producing the concept nor there are plans to offer the up-grade kit for sale.
