Ford Escape

The 2013 Ford Escape incorporates new technologies that save fuel and money due to the 1.6- and 2.0-liter EcoBoost engines. Both engines deliver even better miles per gallon and save customers' money on fuel, thanks to the fact that they smartly blend EcoBoost's core technologies of direct fuel injection and turbocharging and add twin independent variable camshaft timing. This sport utility vehicle from Ford is scheduled to arrive next year, being developed to make life much easier. Its new hands-free technology includes an improved MyFord Touch system and motion-sensing technology similar to video games. Derrick Kuzak, group vice president, Global Product Development, stated that they called their all-new Ford Escape the ,,Smarter Utility Vehicle,, because it offered the strengths that customers really valued, versatility, fuel economy, as well as new technologies that made driving and living with the vehicle more fun and easier. It is a way of showing that Ford understood the fact that more people were considering vehicles like Escape, thus giving them more reasons to buy. Besides the more cargo volume behind the first and second rows, the new Ford Escape delivers great driving dynamics, a sleek new design that integrates high-quality materials and finishing touches, as well as an escape technology that are meant to make life better. By the simple touch of a button, the new Escape's rear seats fold flat easily. After making its international debut in Los Angeles, the new SUV is heading to Europe, where sales of compact sport utilities have grown 200 percent since 2000.
