American carmaker Ford developed the new 2013 F-150 and unveiled it before its launching date planned for this year. The model was improved and so, it now features a new grille, high-intensity discharge headlights as an option and also restyled wheels. New HID projector headlamps are available as a segment-first technology capable of delivering improved visibility and driver confidence. The exterior colors available for the model include Ruby Red Clearcoat, Blue Jeans Metallic and Kodiak Brown Metallic. Inside the cabin, the carmaker offers the SYNC connectivity, the MyFord Touch infotainment system and a revised instrument cluster available with a 4.2-inch LCD display. In terms of power, Ford is offering four different engines. The first one is a 3.7-liter V6 capable of developing 302 horsepower and 376 Nm of torque. The next one is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 capable of producing 365 horsepower and 569 Nm of torque. The list continues with a 5.0-liter V8 engine able of developing 411 horsepower and 588 Nm of torque. Last, but not least, the American carmaker offers a 6.2-liter V8 with 411 horsepower and 588 Nm of torque. The 2013 Ford F-150 is actually the most fuel-efficient and capable light-duty pickup on the market thanks to its updated design and advanced technologies. The F-150 style is also available with 18- and 20-inch wheels available in different trim packages. The options list includes Traffic Information, Turn-by-Turn Directions, MapQuest, News, Sports, Horoscopes and Weather all part of the SYNC Services. The FX Appearance Package includes now Alcantara seat inserts offering a sporty look. The carmaker allows buyers to create their own pickup according to their preferences and needs. Ford has been close to the FFA since 1948 as a sponsor. This is the year the F-Series pickups were first sent for sale.
