American carmaker Ford keeps developing a lot of models and one of the F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition. The specialists have decided to release it sooner because the demand was increasing for this of-road performance pickup, the F-150 SVT Raptor. This is actually the main reason for the earlier release. Ford said that they have registered record highs in 8 of the past 10 months. The production has increased from two trucks per hour like back in 2009 when the model was launched, to 5 trucks per hour. According to different Ford specialists sales are now up 14 % this year. They also say that the Raptor is one of the fastest-turning vehicles in the automotive industry. Unlike other units, the F-150 SVT Raptor has a 15-day supply on the dealer lots.

The 2014 version of the F-150 SVT Raptor is the latest variant of the off-road performance truck. The specialists have also offered different interior and exterior upgrades that made a lot of difference for the overall appearance of the model. Under the hood it hides a 6.2-liter V8 unit capable of generating 411 horsepower and 434 lb. ft. of torque. To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered a 6-speed automatic transmission with selectShift Automatic functionality.

The ones interested in owning one of these bad boys should know that the model comes equipped as standard with a 4-wheel-drive system that the engineers have fitted with electronic shift-on-the-fly capability for the transfer case. Moving on, we also have to mention the front axle that comes with a Torse differential with 4.10:1 gearing and the rear axle that is also a 4.10:1 that is equipped with a high speed electronic-locking differential so that everyone is happy.
