Ford Fiesta facelift

It seems that because of the fear of being left behind, American carmaker Ford has decided to refresh its 6th generation Fiesta subcompact which was revealed for the first time to for the public back in 2008. Just for information, North American sales only started two years ago, in 2010. As carmakers like Renault and Peugeot presented their offers the Clio and the 208, apparently Ford also has something for us. The big premiere will take place at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The upgraded Ford Fiesta will feature the new Aston Martin-like grille that was once on models like the C-MAX and the new Fusion / Mondeo. Under the hood, the new Fiesta facelift features a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine capable of developing 178 horsepower. The new Ford Fiesta facelift also features a re-designed bonnet, new LED daytime running lights held in the headlamps and also a new front bumper design. More details can be observed by taking a look at the pictures in the photo gallery.

In terms of interior, the engineers have offered some changes as well. For example, the buttons for the electric windows have been relocated, but also the ones for the mirrors found on the door of the driver. These changes can be found on the North American 2014 Fiesta model year as well. Unfortunately these are all the information available on the new 2013 Ford Fiesta facelift. There is now way of telling whether the specialists have offered some upgrades under the hood, but for sure, more details will be revealed in just a while, so do not go anywhere.
