A Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition was developed as a result of the partnership between Roush Performance and Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. The model will be built as a limited edition, so only 25 units will be offered for sale. The new Mustang Premier Edition will be available with 12 main body color finishes; seven of them are already available on the 2012 model and another five bespoke ones.
The new 2013 GT model features a Roush R6 Aerobody Kit that provides a new look for the front with very low front grille opening. The engineers also offer new driving lamps and different front fascia chin splitters. These are not all. The specialists also provide the rocker panel side splitters, the rear aero valance and rear diffuser design. Under the hood, the model hides a 5.0-liter V8 engine with the R2300 TVS supercharger developed by the company that is capable of producing 565 horsepower and 505 lb. ft. of torque. Roush Performance specialists are not really satisfied only with this output and this is why their engineers offer an additional upgrade that increases the power of the engine to 625 horsepower and 525 lb. ft. of torque. The output is being sent to the road through 20-inch wheels that can have either a hyper black or a chrome finish.
To handle the extra power, the engineers have offered a 4-piston brake system with red / black calipers and 14-inch rotors. The ones interested can also choose the optional 6-piston brakes, convertible light bar, the quarter window louvers and a trunk-mounted tool kit. Roush Performance can provide a specially made color design consultation for the 2013 Mustang Premier Edition model year. These are all the details revealed on the limited edition so far.
