Ford Mustang Roush RS by Roush Performance

Tuning company Roush Performance decided to add a new package to its model line up for the 2013 Ford Mustang called the Roush RS or Roush Six. In terms of performance, nothing changes and so the output of the 3.7-liter V6 remains 305 horsepower. The RS package offered turned its attention towards the handling components and the styling. The springs drop the height by 1-inch along with progressive rate jounce bumpers. Until the package was installed, the car used to send the power to the wheels through 19-inch premium painted aluminum wheels and tires borrowed from the Ford Mustang GT. Power was handles with Brembo brakes, but now they are out. The body components were taken from Roush Stage cars and include front chin splitter, side rocker splitters and rear deck-lid spoiler, high flow upper and lower grilles. The list of components does not stop here and continues with a Roush windshield banner and R fender badges. Offered as standard, the tuner equips the vehicles with RS exterior graphics on the hood and side body, hood scoop and rear quarter window. For the inside of the car, the tuning engineers offer floor mats, a specially made Roush center console badge or button and billet performance pedals. Also, the new improved car receives GT charcoal leather seating or, it the driver prefers, sport leather seating with white or black shifter ball, but also the performance steering wheels suede wrapped. The rood sill plates offered by the aftermarket specialists are available with ambient lighting. In terms of pricing, Roush Performance established a staring price of $4.000 for the Ford Mustang RS package. Now, the optional elements like the suede steering wheel, louvers and full leather upgrade have a price of only $9.000. The talented engineers from Roush Performance did some spectacular work.
