Ford SVT Raptor

American carmaker Ford has decided to improve the F-150 and this is how the SVT Raptor was born. This model came on request from off-road enthusiasts who wanted more performance.

The vehicle features forged-aluminum conventional wheels that can be upgraded after purchase and a lot of other functional improvements like HID headlamps that are way better than the standard ones and a new earth-toned exterior color. The new wheels help improve the performance of the Raptor in the soft sand or other difficult conditions. The good news is that sales of the Raptor have increased by 20% in comparison with last year. The wheels of the Ford SVT Raptor are unique because the customer only has to unbolt the standard outer decorative ring, dismount the tire from its regular position and then remount the tire in the lock-enabled position with the bead-lock ring kit borrowed from Ford Racing. In terms of technology the model features SYNC communications and entertainment system, a new 4.2-inch multifunction LCD screen for the MyFord driver connect technology. It also features an available voice-activated Navigation System and a rear view camera.

The interior offers standard unique leather and cloth-trimmed seats that keep the driver and first-row passenger firmly in place no matter the terrain conditions. This is not all Ford offers. The SVT Raptor can be ordered with an optional Luxury Package with different comfort and convenience technologies. There are five colors available for the exterior. The Ford SVT Raptor is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of developing 411 horsepower and 434 lb. ft. of torque. All the power is being sent to the wheels through an electronic 6-speed automatic transmission that features tow mode and SelectShift Automatic functionality.
