Honda claims to be the power of dreams. On the whole, it is one of the most complex corporations in the world producing from motorcycles, trucks, planes, motorboats to robots and household items. Well, Mugen, the Honda official tuning company, picked a Honda car, more specifically the Honda City and decided to realize one of their dreams based on the model. The Honda City Mugen comes as a limited edition, specially designed for the Philippines.
The Honda City Mugen draws inspiration from the previous City generation. Of course, Mugen has applied some of their special elements that distinguish this special edition from the other Honda cars. The vehicle got a new front grille, front and rear under spoilers, side sills and a huge rear wing, as well, to provide the sedan with a sportier look.
The Honda City Mugen will be limited to only 20 units. They all have a Taffeta White exterior theme and they will be manufactured in the 1.5 EL AT trim. The vehicles will be powered only by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine that has an output of 120 HP (88 kW) and 145 Nm (107 lb-ft) sent to the front wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Twenty- nine dealerships in the Philippines will be exposing the Honda City Mugen that is priced at Php 976,000 (about 22,000 USD / 16,000 / 13,400).
