Honda S660 concept

In November, we will have the opportunity to participate at the Tokyo Motor Show where a lot of companies will be present and will release their latest achievements in the presence of a lot of enthusiasts and fans, but also in front of other automotive specialists. One of the carmakers that will show up at the event is Honda and will come with their S660 that looks a lot like the EV-STER concept that we had the opportunity to see for the first time back in 2011. Actually, back then it came with a conventional engine and honestly we refer to a small 660cc 3-cylinder turbocharger motor capable of generating 64 BHP. To transfer all this output to the road, the engineers have offered a 7-speed CVT.

Unfortunately there are no details regarding the weight, but it is possible to be somewhere around 900 kg. So that you know and not raise your hopes up, the concept version of the model will be turned into a production version which will come with a fully retractable roof sometime in two years time. Another thing refers to the fact that the model will only be sold in Japan. Honda might, but not for sure, try to export a version of the model that will receive power from a slightly larger unit. We are talking about a 1.0-liter turbo engine rated at 100 BHP, but this is just a plan for the future. Together with the new S660 concept, the carmaker will also present other models like the Urban SUV and also the Acura NSX concept.

In terms of motorcycles, the carmaker will also present models like the DUNK, a new style 50 cc scooter, especially made for Japan and a lot more. We will have more details on the matter, probably next month when the Auto Show will start in Tokyo.
