Hyundai Azera Hybrid

Hybrid cars are something that holds the news headlines all the time lately. There is a whole trend of creating eco-friendly cars in the auto field. There are several reasons why interest in these vehicles convinced even the biggest car producers to enter the trend. Hyundai, one of the most respectable and innovative brands in the world, has entered the trend. The company has just revealed the hybrid variant of the Hyundai Azera.

The Hyundai Azera, or Grandeur, as it is called in the Japanese market, is powered by a 2.4-liter MPI engine that produces 159 hp (116 kW) and an electric unit that offers an additional 47 hp (35 kW). This allows the Azera Hybrid to develop a maximum of 204 hp (150 kW). When it comes to efficiency, which is the main goal of a hybrid car, the new eco-friendly Azera should have a combined fuel economy of 37.6 mpg (6.2 liters per 100 km).

In terms of styling, the hybrid version of the Hyundai Azera is more or less the same as the regular Azera. The hybrid model is distinguished only by an updated front grille. The car also features LED rear lights, a set of 17 inch alloy wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, heated seats, climate control, a latest generation infotainments system and a quite interesting sun roof. The hybrid’s price begins at 24,000 EUR.
