What do Hyundai Motor and ARK Performance have in common? Well, they both represent with a lot of success Korea. On one hand, Hyundai Motor Company has always tried to create innovative methods to please its customers. The company leads Korea’s auto industry and it is also an important auto company in the world. On the other hand, ARK Performance Inc. was founded 15 years ago, and is now one of the largest leading manufacturing facilities in the Republic of Korea for aftermarket performance products. And they teamed up to create the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe Legato concept, which will be introduced in Las Vegas, at the 2013 SEMA.
The ARK Hyundai Genesis Coupe Legato concept is powered by a 4.0 liter engine, capable of developing 400 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. ARK did a pretty damn good job by placing a Brian Crower (BC) 4.0 Stroker Kit with JE Pistons and a BC 4340 crankshaft, connecting rods, and ARK oil cooler. The concept is also fitted with an ARK intake system and headers, a lightweight pulley kit and an ARK dual-mass flywheel and carbon clutch kit.
The ARK Hyundai Genesis Coupe Legato concept sits on a set of Rays Engineering G25 wheels wrapped in Nitto NT05 tires. The vehicle is equipped with carbon brake pads and a DT-P coilover suspension system. The body kit provided by the tuning company consists of wider wheel arches, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a new boot lid. The inside of the car is a sporty one with Takata Drift Pro LE seats, an AiM Sports Strada GT steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and a Rockford Fosgate performance sound system. All we have to do now, is to wait and the car in “flesh and blood”.
