Hyundai Veloster Turbo Yellowcake

The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. Hyundai is one of the companies that will be present at the show this year and this might not be a surprise to some of you, because the Japanese brand is known to be an innovative one. They will introduce the Yellowcake Veloster Turbo.

Hyundai developed the Yellowcake Veloster Turbo in collaboration with the EGR Group. Together they realized the night racer which has a clear aim. It needs to face night racing circuits. There’s no need to wonder about the colour of this car, as the name is pretty suggestive. This custom-developed color, dubbed Yellowcake, was created by EGR in collaboration with the paint experts at PPG and Barry’s Speed Shop. The car is equipped with a LED light bar and it sits on a set of DPE lightweight racing wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 semi-slick racing tires. The constructor fitted the vehicle with an ARK coil-over suspension system, as well as an AEM strut tower brace and Brembo brakes.

The Hyundai Yellowcake Veloster Turbo doesn’t come with to many modifications on the inside. Worth mentioning are the Takata racing seats, a roll cage and quite a lot Katzkin developed elements. The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine has also received some improvements. And we are talking here about an AEM air intake and a MagnaFlow exhaust system. Bisimoto Engineering also brought contribution in upgrading the engine. With all these, it produces 250 bhp (186 kW). More details about the fudgy car will be offered in November when it will be officially presented.
