Japanese carmaker Infiniti managed to develop a new luxurious model and the result is the new JX35 by using the next-generation Nissan Pathfinder hardware. The carmaker established a starting price of $40.000 and it offers a lot of interesting features like Technology Package for extra $3.100 that features Blind Spot Intervention, adaptive cruise, 15-speaker Bose sound, a heated steering wheel and a lot more. After analyzing all it can do and all that it offers, the final price came in at over $50.000.
All the output is being sent to the road through 20-inch wheels that add more excitement to its profile. Infiniti specialist offered some special elements for the interior as well. Like for example, the dashboard in really impressive and the steering wheel was swathed in rich leather. The cabin is capable of offering enough room for first and second row passengers. Unfortunately, on the third row only children can fit, but it is not really a surprise as this is where children usually sit. The adaptive cruise control system is the best in class levels as it slows down the 4.280-pound Infiniti JX35 when the car in front decelerates.
Under the hood it hides a VQ35DE 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of developing 265 horsepower and 248 lb. ft. of torque. All the power is being sent to the wheels through a continuously variable transmission. Thanks to the incredible suspensions, the new CUV is capable of passing over bumps and pits like they do not even exist. The carmaker offers the Drive Mode Selector that controls throttle responses and transmission mapping. In the end the JX35 offers an incredible driving experience. Infiniti specialists should be proud of themselves and their new achievement and the price they sell it for.
