Jaguar XJR

Jaguar is more than just a name. It is a spirit that can be found all over this planet. And now its goal is to release another of its attractive performance cars, the Jaguar XJR. This is scheduled to happen in New York Auto Show next week.

Some of the features to be seen on the Jaguar XJR are a specially redesigned front bumper, a ventilated hood and black mesh grille inserts. To offer the car a sporty look, it will be equipped with a sport suspension, red brake calipers and it will ride on five- spoke alloy wheels.

The British carmaker still keeps some secrets, one of them being related to the engine. The XJR will be powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and, most likely, 680 Nm (502lb-ft) of torque. The engine will probably allow the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds.

As characterized by the company, the Jaguar XJR reunites the best of technology, performance and modern design, making it a wanted spectacular vehicle, the most focused, agile and responsive Jaguar XJ ever created.
