Lamborghini Gallardo India

Automobili Lamborghini, the company headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northeastern Italy, was founded in 1963, so doing a little calculus we notice it celebrates 50 years of existence. During all these years they have been manufacturing the most wanted and innovative cars in the world. And since the anniversary needs to be remembered, Lamborghini decided to mark the moment through revealing some new extraordinary vehicles. One of them is the Lamborghini Gallardo India.

Lamborghini officials stated back in 2012 that the 2013 LP560-4 model is the last Gallardo model ever produced. However, it seems that “last” is not the end for the Italians, as they have decided to conquer India with a special limited edition of the vehicle, named the LP 550-2 India Limited Edition. This is another proof that the 50th year of existence needs to be something big, something to impress everyone. And in this case limited means only six vehicles, all destined for India. And to make this clear, the car will come in the following colours: pearl orange, white and pearl green. And this is the Indian national flag.

Inside the Lamborghini Gallardo India special edition the main theme is black. There is also a green stitching on the driver’s seat and an orange stitching on the passengers’ seats. The central console, dashboard and doors wear white stitching. So India is on the inside of the car, too. The super car is powered by a V10 5.2-liter engine with 540 HP (397 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque linked to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch, six-speed gearbox. It can sprint the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds in its way to a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
