Lamborghini Veneno in Geneva

Until now, Italian carmaker Lamborghini revealed different leaks and teasers, but nothing certain. Now, things have changed and we have in front of us the new Lamborghini Veneno, an ultra-exclusive model built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini. The new model will be built as a limited edition so only 3 units will see the light of the day. Designers have focused their attention on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability. Its engine is capable of generating 750 horsepower which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 355 km/h. The price for one unit was established at 3.5 million EUR plus tax and apparently the three models have already found their new home.

Under the hood, the model hides a 12-cylinder 6.5-liter unit that uses a fast-shifting 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving models and permanent all-wheel drive. According to the Lamborghini the complete chassis is produced as a CFRP monocoque and the interior of the car uses materials like Forged Composite and CarbonSkin. In terms of design, know that the new Lamborghini Veneno has been laid out for perfect airflow and down-force. Exactly like the front end, the rear of the model has also been optimized for underbody aerodynamics and high speed cornering stability.

To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have fitted 20-inches wheels at the front and 21 inches at the rear and are equipped with center mountings. The model celebrates its first public appearance at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. For the moment these are all the information available on the model, but anyways, like we have already mentioned before, the three models were already sold, so no hope there.
