So that everyone knows, Lancia has announced the launch of a new Elefantino trim level available for the Ypsilon. The starting price was established at EUR10.450 and it will be available in Italian dealerships starting on the 13th of this month. The new trim version will be available with all the engine versions combined with manual transmissions. To be more precise, we are talking about a 1.2-liter engine capable of generating 69 horsepower, about a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir capable of producing 85 horsepower and a 1.3-liter MultiJet with 95 horsepower output. Next on the list we have the 1.2-liter LPG with 69 horsepower output and last, but not least, the 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir Methane capable of generating 80 horsepower. The price for the top of the range can even reach EUR16.500.

The Elefantino is back on the new Ypsilon 5-door making this model accessible for young customers. The model is now avaialbe in new exterior colors which are included in the pricelist. These liveries are embellished with fuchsia details that characterize the door mirror covers with specific graphics, body colored door handles and also the original colored wheel hub caps. The new model has a single casual interior available for all exterior shades. We will be able to see a leather steering wheel, chrome-plated finishes of the dashboard and black fabric seats with fuchsia stitching, door mirror covers and a lot more. The new products will continue throughout the year, contributing to reinforcing the growing success the model has so far met both with the public and with critics. According to different studies, the model is the third best-selling car in Italy, or at least it was in the first quarter of this year.
