Land Rover Range Rover Sport by Startech

The Essen Motor Show has been these days the center of the auto world. Many vehicles were presented there, among them also being the Range Rover Sport tuned by Startech. The tuning company comes from Germany, the most competitive country when it comes to new vehicles and tuning programs. And although a lot of firms are keen on developing projects for BMW or Mercedes cars, Startech breaks the ice and upgrades the British traditional CUV.

Startech equipped the Range Rover Sport with an updated front bumper that has larger air intakes and integrated LED daytime running lights. At the back, there's a rear diffuser, a stainless-steel sports exhaust system and 22-inch alloy wheels. The model can also be brought closer to ground thanks to a suspension lowering module that lowers the ride height by approximately 25mm. Inside the cabin we discover a combination of premium leather and Alcantara upholstery. There are also a few carbon fiber elements and a wood trim.

The Range Rover Sport is powered by the 3.0-liter SDV6 turbodiesel engine which can be upgraded with an SD30 S tuning kit which allows it to generate 323 HP (237 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. These figures represent an increase of 31 HP (22 kW) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft). The additional power boost enables the model to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 222 km/h (138 mph). All Startech components are available via authorized Land Rover dealers as well as at Startech branches and retail outlets around the globe.
