Range Rover Pink by Hamann

The German tuning company Hamann Motorsport is a quite well known name in the car field. It was originally founded just to work on vehicles made in Germany, specifically BMW. Since its birth in 1986 they extended on many car brands. Their latest work was tuning the Range Rover, inspired by the American rapper Nicki Minaj.

The Range Rover tuned by Hamann was a pretty awkward element at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. Now, the tuning company details its features. The vehicle is all painted in pink, being not only a coloured spot in Geneva, but also shocking the sights of the visitors. The pinkish Range Rover is equipped with a new front spoiler that has built-in LED daytime running lights, and some elements like the hood and front wings manufactured from carbon fiber. The car has received additional 80 mm wideness with the help of new side skirts, panels for the back wheel wings and door fixtures.  The car finishes with a revised rear spoiler which incorporates the final pipes of the rear silencer. An electronic lowering module lowers the Range Rover with 40 mm. The car rides on 23 inch forged alloys in Edition Race or Unique Forged style, that wear 305/30/23 rubbers.

The Range Rover’s interior still remains a mystery. The only things that are known by now are some velour sports floor mats and new door sill trims, which wear the tuner’s logo. The upholstery can be done at request from materials such as Alcantara leather, carbon, aluminum or stainless steel. Whether or not the pink SUV will be a successful car remains to be seen. What is for sure is that it matches perfectly with the Jamaican star Nicki Minaj whose actions all surround pink: the Pink Friday Tour, the Pink Friday Reloaded Tour etc.
