Lexus LF-NX concept

Lexus is clearly a name associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew fast until Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles. Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose members together constitute the world's third-leading automaker. Everything they do, they try to do perfect. Very recently they have introduced their new Lexus LF-NX concept on the occasion of the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Lexus LF-NX comes to support Lexus’s leadership in hybrid power in the premium market. It is powered by a new variation of the Lexus Hybrid Drive full hybrid system, upgraded for SUV performance. So, power comes from a 2.-5-litre, four-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine mated with a powerful electric motor. At low speeds, the hybrid can use only the electric motor to support its ride. The officials claim that the fuel economy is highly increased and the CO2 emissions are quite low.

We might say that the looks of the new Lexus LF-NX could have received more attention. There will be people who will like it, but there will surely be people who will hate it. The crossover features an aggressive front fascia with a massive spindle grille that is flanked by diamond-shaped LED headlights, some bulging fenders, a stylish greenhouse and a sloping roofline. It is covered in Brushed Metal Silver. The inside has two-tone leather upholstery and some updated elements. This concept car is in fact a study that explores the potential for this kind of vehicle in the Lexus model range.
