Maserati Gran Turismo Sovrano by DMC

The Italian company Maserati is more than just a car manufacturer. It has become a culture in terms of sports cars. And as a tuning company, picking such a car to work on, takes a lot of guts. And DMC is not an unknown name in the tuning field so it is not surprising that it had the courage of doing a program for the Maserati Gran Turismo Sovrano.

The Maserati Gran Turismo Sovrano kit developed by DMC dates back to 2011 but it comes out to light once again thanks to some pictures taken by the Chinese artist PRIMAGE. The supercar was photographed in China and the first noticeable ting is the Stradale style front bumper and a GT3 inspired hood.  The car features a carbon fiber diffuser and a new lip spoiler, and other visible changes are the new glossy black sport alloy wheels.

Just as a reminder, the tuned V8 4.7-liter engine of the Maserati Gran Turismo can generate a total of 582 bhp (434 kW) and 348 lb-ft (472 Nm) of torque. This means an increase by 148 bhp (110 kW) and 60 lb-ft (82 Nm) compared to the stock model. The ECU remapping and a new supercharger are guilty for the engine’s performance. DMC also improved the ride with a suspension lowering by 30 mm and added a 255/30/R20 (20-inch rims) wheel/tire combo for the front and a 305/30/R21 (21-inch rims) coupling at the back. The same tuning package is available for the Maserati Gran Turismo convertible.
