The Maybach brand is known worldwide for its unparalleled levels of luxury in automotive design. From its very conception, the founders of Maybach aimed to surpass every known standard in their pursuit of the marque’s claim: Excellence in Luxury. And they succeeded in doing it. Maybe it’s because of this we rarely hear about a tuning program for the vehicle. And though it seems a bit inappropriate to modify this type of a classical vehicle, Couture Customs takes its chances.
The tuning specialist from Arizona, U.S., has just presented an aftermarket program for the Maybach 57. The kit is based on the 2010 facelift model of the German Maybach. The vehicle is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, which is rated to an output of 543 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. This enables the car to sprint from stand point to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds.
Couture Customs wrapped the Maybach 57 in a Frozen Grey matte foil. Inside the luxurious vehicle they have set Rich Black leather with trim elements made of exotic wood. The vehicle sits on a set of black alloys and it is equipped with smoked tail lights. It also features 6 piston brake calipers, LED lights, champagne holders and a great sound system. There is no word on the pricing. Still, it would be interesting to find out who on earth will invest money in this project.
