At the 83rd edition of the well-known event Geneva International Motor Show, FAB Design specialists will offer the MP4 Chimera, a model that has as base the McLaren MP4-12C. The new model comes like a continuation to the FAB Design TERSO wide-body version and presents a soft customization programme for the McLaren MP4-12C. All engineers have tried to develop the model with aerodynamic efficiency and weight optimization in mind. They have used chassis components made of very light carbon GFK composite which were perfectly coordinated. One of the main elements of the body kit is the front spoiler which is made from visible carbon-fiber and channels to the air to the vents.
These actually appear even lower to the ground. Moving on, we do have to mention the innovative wind splitter on top of the engine hood. We can all see with the naked eye the link between the front and rear, the front skirts made of visible carbon-fiber. These offer a powerful look no matter where it is parked on the street. Tuners from FAB Design have developed a triple-flow exhaust pipe, especially for the new rear apron. The rear axle receives power from the FAB rear diffuser made of carbon. Thanks to the fact the tuner offers its customization programme as part of the delivery program, any specialized shop can convert a production-line McLaren MP4-12C into a FAB CHIMERA.
The carmaker has established the starting price for the styling kit at EUR16.900 without shipping costs. The wheels are covered in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that are available measuring 235 / 35 R20 and 305 / 25 R 21. These are capable of obtaining optimum grip and improved road handling. We have to admit the tuners have managed to reach great levels of talent and dedication with the new McLaren MP4 Chimera.
