Mercedes A-Class BlueEFFICIENCY Edition

It seems that the Germans from Mercedes-Benz have developed a new model and plan to introduce it really soon. We are talking about the Mercedes-Benz A-Class BlueEFFICIENCY Edition. This eco-friendly model has a fuel consumption that reaches 3.6 liters / 100 km according to the MVEG cycle. When it comes to the CO2 emission level, know that it is capable of reaching only 92 g/km. After analyzing these figures we find out that the 180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model is the most fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz of all time. We also have the A 180 BlueEFFICIENCY Edition petrol model that has 5.2 liters / 100 km fuel consumption and the CO2 emission level reaches 120 g/km. This model is also one of the most efficient vehicles in its class. The fuel consumption of the BlueEFFICIENCY Edition models is actually even lower than for the basic vehicles. This represents an improvement of 5% in each case. The factors that contribute to this are additional aerodynamic optimization measures that include the partial covering of the upper section of the radiator grille, aerodynamically shaped spring link coverings that improve the flow of the air along the underbody at the rear axle and a suspension that has been lowered by 15 mm. This is not all; the generator management system has also been revised, as has the manual transmission, which now features longer gear ratios in the higher gears.

The new models have round LED daytime running lamps set into the bumper. If you are interested in maybe owning one of these models, know that it is scheduled to go on sale on the 1st of February this year. Deliveries will only start in March. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class 180 BlueEFFICIENCY Edition receives power from a 1.6-liter petrol engine capable of generating 122 horsepower. The 180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Editions is powered by a 1.5-liter engine capable of generating 109 horsepower.
