Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Racing Series concept

Mercedes-Benz is one of the most wanted brands in the auto field and it is a global company that pleases a lot of people in the world. This is a fact that cannot be contested. Each Mercedes car offers extra class to the person driving it. The Germans have just revealed all the details about their Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Racing Series concept which had its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Racing Series concept features an updated front bumper with large air intakes and a carbon fiber splitter. It is also equipped with extended wheel arches, revised side skirts and an aggressive rear bumper with a carbon fiber diffuser. Other elements worth mentioning are the adjustable rear wing and the set of lightweight alloy wheels with Dunlop racing slicks. The vehicle has received a new suspension system, too. It is created in such a way as to impress the race lovers and it has a wider track and adjustable springs and dampers. The brakes haven’t remained untouched. They are high performance ones which have to face the race requirements.

The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Racing Series concept is powered by the same engine type as the standard model. This is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine whose configurations will vary according to the race series and the rules that need to be applied. Even the traditional front-wheel drive setup can be replaced by an all-wheel one. And so are the transmission systems. This vehicle demonstrates that Mercedes has the strong wish to increase their commitment to customer motorsport and success won’t delay.
