Mercedes GL550

The new German 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL550 wagon is a model built for families with children or for adults that have a lot of adult friends. No matter what we have, everyone will be impressed whether they care about cars or not. It is really difficult to be indifferent to this incredible model. We can see the Mercedes-Benz logo on the grille and the 21-inch five-spoke AMG wheels offered to send the output to the road. The Germans offered a lot of elements for the interior like: lane-keeping monitor, active and self-cleaning headlamps, heated / cooled / massaging seats, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree view and backup camera with parking assist.

This is not all, and so the list continues with a Harmon / Kardon surround sound system and special doors that close real gentle. A surprising thing is that the carmaker did not offer rear seat entertainment screens, which is a little weird for a $100.115 Mercedes-Benz GL500. Under the hood, the new 2013 model features a 4.5-liter V8 turbo engine capable of generating 429 horsepower and 516 lb. ft. of torque. To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered a 7-speed automatic transmission. This actually enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds to the four wheel drive.

The model uses 13 mpg of fuel in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL550 SUV has a lot of advantages, but also a lot of elements are not really that comfortable for a mother, for example as she might just have one hand to fold the seat and it turns out it is not that easy. On top of all these, a child might pull her skirt for attention. Even so, we have to give credit to the designers who managed to obtain a really impressive model.
