The tuning segment in the auto field is an impressive one, with original and unmistakable projects that can write history. If you have the need of taking your car out of the ordinary, feel free to go to Famous Parts. They are among the tuning houses that surely do a good job. Famous Parts, the German tuning company, has made a name for itself in the auto world, being one of the most expert firms of this type. The latest project they have been working on is a new Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster.
Famous Parts didn’t do one of their greatest jobs in matter of tuning a vehicle, but it managed to add a little extra personality to the Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster, which is by all means an extraordinary car. The super vehicle has received a KW adjustable suspension which offers it a sportier appearance. The vehicle rides on 20- / 21-inch ADV.1 5.2 MV2 SL wheels with a brushed silver finish. A tailor-made titanium exhaust system is also in plan but there is no information about how this will affect performance.
Just as a reminder, the Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine that generates 626 HP (460 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque. It is linked to a five-speed transmission which allows the vehicle to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and to reach a maximum speed of 332 km/h (206 mph). It is not very impressive but the Famous Parts upgraded vehicle certainly offers a sensational driving performance on the road surface.
