Mercedes SLS AMG Borrasca Roadster by Inden Design

The cars’ world is one that is submitted to continuous change. Car manufacturers become better as time passes, each wanting to be the best and their unique goal is to create the car that gets closer and closer to perfection. And this gives birth to another branch in the field, the car tuning industry. One of the most ambitious tuning companies is the Inden Design specialized in creating tuning packages for Ferrari and Mercedes cars. Their latest project is the new Mercedes SLS AMG Borrasca Roadster.

When naming the vehicle, Inden Design thought of the Spanish word synonym with storm. Even the name, Mercedes SLS AMG Borrasca Roadster, suggests a powerful car, as fast on the road as a storm. The Mercedes got an improved aerodynamic kit which contains a new front bumper, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler and revised side skirts. The vehicle has some ventilated front fenders, too and a new rear bumper with an integrated carbon fiber diffuser. The Borrasca has been equipped with lowing springs (which reduce the ride height by 15mm), a stainless steel sports exhaust system and it now rides on a set of 21 inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental high performance rubbers.

The tuning pack doesn’t resume just to the outer design. The German tuners also worked on the engine of the Mercedes SLS AMG Borrasca Roadster. The 6.3-liter V8 engine has been modified to produce 635 HP (467 kW). Other details are not available yet, but the SLS AMG GT Roadster with 591 HP (435 kW) output sprints from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. It is obvious that this will be a faster one. On the whole, Inden Design has done an excellent tuning job on the Mercedes.
