Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG by Mcchip-dkr

Shortly after DKR Tuning was founded, back in 2002 in Mechernich, the successful story of the business began. Since the beginning, the company had developed software solutions for small cars, trucks and motorcycles. This way, a few years later, the confirmation that the company was one of the best tuning houses in the world and one of the most important software optimization providers in the auto field came. DKR Tuning teamed up with Mcchip and together they are one of the most famous tuning companies. The firm’s latest project is based on the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG.

As mcchip-dkr is famous especially for the skills in upgrading engines, the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is no exception, the best part in the tuning program being the engine upgrade. The vehicle is powered by a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which in its stock configuration outputs 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Mcchip-dkr offers a three stage tuning for the car. Stage number one takes the power to 400 HP (294 kW) and 535 Nm (394 lb-ft). Stage number two increases the force to 420 HP (309 kW) while torque remains unchanged at 535 Nm (394 lb-ft).

The most interesting stage in the mcchip-dkr tuning for the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is the last one, which increases power to 450 HP (331 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft). The extra power comes from some turbocharger upgrades, aside from the already mentioned software tweaks and sports catalysts. The vehicle also gets KW coilovers and a set of 19 inch mbDesign KV1 shod in 235/35 ZR19 Dunlop Sport Maxx Race rubbers. This is a tuning package that can certainly take the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG out of the ordinary.
