This year in Frankfurt we had the opportunity to see the new Mercedes-Benz model for the first time during the International Auto Show that took place in Frankfurt a few weeks ago. There are customers that are now looking forward towards the launch of the new compact SUV from Mercedes-Benz. At this point there are a lot of customers just anticipating what is the next step and the whole suspense will be over next year in March when an exclusive Edition 1 variant will be released. In case you are interested to know, the model will be available for order from the end of November for around 1 year after the launch on the market.

As you will be able to see, the new model will be able to impress all of us with the exclusive details both for the interior and the exterior. Moving on, we also have to mention elements like, for example, 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels finished in high-gloss black, a black radiator grille louver with chrome inserts and a lot more. The new Edition 1 will also come in paint-finishes cirrus white, mountain grey metallic and oriented brown metallic.

For the interior, the carmaker offered the Desert Dust interior with seats that are only available in the Edition 1, with 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel in leather with perforated grip area and flattened bottom section. Next we will also get aluminum trim with trapezoidal grain. In case you are interested in it you should know that the carmaker offers it with the new generation 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution as an option. The new model will come with two options in terms of engine, so with a 1.6-liter and with a 2.0-literengine capable of generating from 115 kW in the GLA 200 to 155 kW in the GLA 250. There are also two diesel engines, the GLA 200 CDI capable of generating 100 kW with a displacement of 2.2-liters that can output up to 300 Nm of torque. The second option is the GLA 220 CDI with a 2.2-liter displacement and an output of 125 kW and 350 Nm of torque.
